Our principal and most experienced dentist, Dr Le Huong Thai has been working as a dentist since graduating from the University of Saigon 1983. Following her Australian Dental Council reaccreditation in 1991, she co-founded both Richmond and Springvale Dental Groups and has accumulated vast private practice experience following their establishments.
Dr Le Huong Thai has particular interest and expertise in prosthodontics (especially crown, bridge, denture and implants), orthodontics having completed a post-graduate diploma in Progressive Orthodontics and periodontics.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Huong enjoys travelling the world, spending time with family, enjoying good food and karaoke.

Dr Vicky Thai graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2006 with a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDSc) and has since been practising for more than 15 years in private and public practice. She is a member of the ADA. In addition to her work at Springvale Dental Group, Vicky also practices at The Royal Dental Hospital Primary Care Department and is a Clinical Demonstrator at The University of Melbourne.
Passionate about continuing study, Dr Vicky Thai ensures she is up-to-date with the latest treatments and approaches to dentistry. She is qualified in dental surgery, implant dentistry and Invisalign.
Her qualifications include: Primary Examinations from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Australian Society of Implant Dentistry Accreditation course Invisalign course Dr Vicky is also currently taking Progressive Orthodontic Seminar courses.
Dr Vicky Thai’s special interests include Periodontics (treatment of gum disease) Endodontics (root canal treatment) Cosmetic dentistry
In her free time, Dr Vicky enjoy scuba diving, functional fitness, wining and dining and art appreciation.

Dr Nhut Tran graduated from the University of Sydney in 2012 with honours and has since worked in metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria including Shepparton, Albury/Wodonga. He is a member of the ADA.
Dr Nhut is committed to further post-graduate studies, attaining qualifications in Progressive Orthodontics and Osstem Implants since his graduation. Whilst developing these particular interests in dentistry, Dr Nhut enjoys undertaking general family dental care the most.
When it comes to his dental philosophy, Dr Nhut involves a caring and gentle approach, with his aim being to ensure every person walks away without having to fear coming to the dentist!
In his free time, Dr Nhut is an avid soccer fan, with his favourite team being Manchester United. He also enjoys watching his futsal team compete, is a keen fisherman and enjoys playing video games when he isn’t spending time with his family members.

After completing his Bachelor of Dentistry degree from Griffith University in Queensland in 2017, Dr Calvin Giang has since aimed to deliver the highest quality dental care to all his patients. He prides himself in his ability to offer sympathy and practice sensitivity to cater for his patients of all ages, showing them his respect for their enquiries and making it his responsibility to adequately inform them of their treatment plans and procedures. He is passionate about furthering his knowledge and improving his skills on all aspects of dentistry.
Calvin is a strong believer of having a pro-active rather than re-active approach to dental care and is therefore committed to delivering dental education, aiming to improve patient’s oral health and their attitudes to ongoing oral hygiene.
In his spare time, Calvin enjoys going on road trips, watching movies and catching up with friends.

Dr Norman graduated in 2019 from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). Having honed his skills in regional areas around Queensland and the Northern Territory, Dr Norman is passionate in ensuring that patients understand their own oral health needs.
He is a member of the ADA.
Ensuring he is kept up-to-date with the latest dental treatments, Dr Norman recently completed a PGCert in Dental Implantology from the The Implant Institute’s partnered program with the Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology.
Dr Norman is passionate about providing a holistic approach to dental care, ensuring that patients understand their own individual oral health needs so that maintenance is made that little bit easier at home! He has particular interests in periodontics, oral surgery (wisdom teeth in particular) and oral medicine.
In his spare time, Dr Norman enjoys a number of hobbies, including landscape/street photography, music and travel. He also enjoys watching his favourite sports team Arsenal FC play week in, week out.

Dr. Brendan Chang graduated from the University of Melbourne with a degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery and also bachelor of Science.
He has experience in both the public and private sectors of dentistry and has worked in private practices in rural and metropolitan Victoria.
Brendan understands the importance of patient centred care and providing the highest quality of dentistry tailored to each individual. He has a gentle and open personality and is flexible in providing patient’s needs. He is a strong believer for patients to keep their teeth as the first option if possible.
Brendan has experience in all fields of dentistry with particular interest in root canal treatment and crowns and finds that the most rewarding aspect is seeing patients with a healthy and happy smile.
His hobbies include watching movies, going to the gym, and spending time with family and friends.

Originally from Melbourne, Dr Linda moved to the sunny state of Queensland for five years to complete her dental degree.
Linda has worked in both public and private sectors varying from rural Queensland to metropolitan Melbourne.
Linda is highly enthusiastic and possesses a caring and bubbly nature. Linda enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is especially passionate in the fields of paediatric and geriatric dentistry.
She believes in complete patient care and hopes to promote and provide oral health care to the community whilst pursuing continued education.
In her spare time, she likes to draw, sing, and craft.

Chelsea graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry and Masters of Dentistry from La Trobe University.
Chelsea believes that patient comfort is a top priority and ensures this is reflected in each experience. She is well known for her gentle, positive manner and precise dexterity to minimise discomfort and deliver outstanding results that align with her patients’ clinical and aesthetic needs. She has an eye for detail and aims to emulate the fine intricacies required for a natural result. Chelsea has undergone further training in restorative dentistry and Invisalign.
Chelsea enjoys working with patients of all ages to help them achieve a healthy smile that they are proud of. Her mission is to uplight her patients’ confidence through quality, individualised care.
Outside of dentistry, Chelsea is an avid film enthusiast (especially for Scorsese and Nolan), enjoys playing netball and dog-walking. On the weekend, she can be found perusing the streets of Melbourne in search of the perfect croissant.

Dr Angela graduated from the University of Melbourne, obtaining a Bachelor of Biomedicine followed by a graduate degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery. She has since travelled all over Victoria to treat patients from a variety of community clinics in metro and rural areas. She is also an active member of the ADA.
Angela has always been passionate about delivering high quality care and helping people achieve good oral health. She enjoys getting to know her patients through open and honest communication and aims to help even the most anxious patients feel comfortable in the dental chair. She has a strong interest in preventive dental care and treating kids.
Outside of dentistry, Angela enjoys spending quality time with family and close friends. She enjoys travelling and is always planning her next road trip or adventure abroad!

Dr Thien Truong Graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy with a Doctor of Dentistry degree in Saigon in 2011. He then worked at the National Hospital of Odontostomatology in Saigon for five years. After moving to Australia in 2017, Dr Truong passed the Australian Dental Council exam and is now registered as a General Dentist in Australia with AHPRA.
He has experience in Prosthodontic treatment and holistic dental care. Dr. Thien strongly believes in the connection between dental health and general health. With a gentle, holistic, and patient-centred approach, Dr Thien ensures patients have the best management and treatment plan for both the short and long term.
Dr Thien has a strong interest in Restorative, Prosthodontics and Periodontal care.
In his free time, Thien loves to go on long runs, play pool and spend time with friends and family.
